Sakunami Onsen

Sakunami Onsen is an onsen district in northern Japan about 25 kilometres to the north-west of Sendai. Sakunami has a number of hotels and ryokan, including Ichinobo and Iwamatsu Ryokan. These onsen cluster around the same Hirose-gawa river that eventually flows through Sendai. Trains on the Senzan Line from Sendai to Yamagata stop at Sakunami Station, a trip that takes roughly 40 minutes from Sendai.

Sendai Hi-Land Raceway is a 2.525mile (4.063 km) motor racing circuit in 12 Hayasaka, Shinkawa, Aoba-ku, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. On October 17, 2010, the Japanese mountain race track hosted the sixth race in the 2010 Super Taikyu Endurance Series.
