Matsushiro Underground Imperial Headquarters

The Matsushiro Underground Imperial Headquarters (松代大本営跡, Matsushiro Daihon'ei Ato, lit. Matsushiro Imperial Headquarters Site) was a large underground bunker complex built during the Second World War in the Matsushiro suburb of Nagano, Japan. The facility was constructed so that the central organs of government of Imperial Japan could be transferred there. In its construction, three mountains, symbolic of Matsushiro Municipality were damaged.

Nagano Olympic Stadium

Nagano Olympic Stadium is a baseball-use stadium in Nagano, Nagano, Japan. It was used for the opening and closing ceremonies for the 1998 Winter Olympics. The stadium holds 30,000 people. The stadium is the finishing point for the annual Nagano Olympic Commemorative Marathon.

White Ring (arena)

The White Ring is an indoor sporting arena located in Nagano, Japan. The capacity of the arena is 7,000 people. It was a venue at the 1998 Winter Olympics, hosting the figure skating and short track speed skating events.

Mori Shogunzuka Burial Chamber

The Mori Shogunzuka Burial Chamber (森将軍塚古墳) is a late Kofun period keyhole tomb located in Chikuma, Nagano, Japan. One of several ancient hilltop tombs in Central Honshū, the Mori Shogunzuka tomb is the only one in the area that has been restored to its former glory. The tomb is viewable as an open exhibit of the adjacent Mori Shogunzuka Museum, next to the Nagano Prefectural Museum of History.
