Hiji Falls is a National Park and popular tourist destination on the island of Okinawa, Japan. It is located in the northern part of the island, approximately 20 kilometers north of the city of Nago. The area the falls and the ensuing river flow through is tropical most of the year. It is a popular destination for both site-seers and committed hikers, as the path from the start to the finish at the falls themselves is not far (about 2 miles), but there are many steep steps throughout the path.

USS Emmons (DD-457/DMS-22) was a Gleaves-class destroyer of the United States Navy, named for Rear Admiral George F. Emmons (1811–1884).
