Wakōshi Station

Wakōshi Station is a railway station in Wakō, Saitama, Japan, operated by Tobu Railway and Tokyo Metro. It is the only Tokyo Metro station located in Saitama Prefecture. It is the westernmost station in the Tokyo subway network, and the northernmost Tokyo Metro station (Nishi-Takashimadaira on the Toei network is farther north).

Wakō, Saitama

Wakō, Saitama is a city located in the southern part of Saitama, Japan, bordering on Tokyo. As of 1 May 2008, the city has an estimated population of 76,221. The total area is 11.04 km². It was formerly home to a Honda factory, but is now the location for the company's technical development section. Part of the headquarters function of Honda is scheduled to move from Tokyo. The head offices of RIKEN, famous as a large natural sciences research institute in Japan, are also located in the city.

RIKEN

is a large natural sciences research institute in Japan. Founded in 1917, it now has approximately 3000 scientists on seven campuses across Japan, the main one in Wako, just outside Tokyo. RIKEN is an Independent Administrative Institution whose formal name in Japanese is Rikagaku Kenkyūjo and in English is The Institute of Physical and Chemical Research.

Shiki Station (Saitama)

is a railway station on the Tobu Tojo Line in Niiza, Saitama, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Tobu Railway. Despite its name, the station building is not actually located in Shiki. The city of Shiki has only one station, Yanasegawa Station, which is the next stop after Shiki Station on the Tobu Tojo Line.
