NHK Kawaguchi Transmitter

The NHK Kawaguchi Transmitter was a medium-wave broadcasting station at Kawaguchi, Saitama, Japan, which was built in 1937. It used for transmissions on 590 kHz with a power of 150 kW, a T-antenna, which was spun between two 312.78-metre-tall guyed masts, which were 463 m apart and which were both insulated against ground.

Hatogaya, Saitama

Hatogaya, Saitama was a city located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. As of April 1, 2011, the city had an estimated population of 61,781, with 26,902 households, and a population density of 9,932.64 per km². The total area was 6.22 km², the second smallest among all cities in Japan. The city was founded on March 1, 1967. Hatogaya was merged into the city of Kawaguchi on October 11, 2011.

Kawaguchi Green Center

The Kawaguchi Green Center, sometimes also called the Botanical Garden of Kawaguchi-City, is a city park and botanical garden located at Araijuku 700, Kawaguchi, Saitama, Japan. Admission is 300 yen for adults and 100 yen for children. The garden was established in 1967, and now contains fountains, plum trees, and topiary pieces, as well as greenhouses with collections including banana, bougainvillea, lotus, orchids, and succulent plants.
