Senju-ji

Senju-ji (専修寺), also known as Takadayama (高田山), is the chief Buddhist temple of the Takada branch of Jōdo Shinshū, a Japanese sect of Buddhism. Founded by Shinran in 1226, it was later named an imperial temple. Though the temple's central sacred mountain (本山, motoyama) is located in Tsu city, Mie prefecture, where Senju-ji was originally founded, today the head temple (本寺, hondera) is in Takata, Ninomiya town, in Tochigi prefecture.

Ninomiya, Tochigi

Ninomiya, Tochigi was a town located in Haga District. It lies in the extreme south-east of Tochigi, Japan. On March 23, 2009 Ninomiya was merged into the city of Mooka. Ninomiya commonly means "the second shrine" of the province, but this town is named after an 18th-century hero, Ninomiya Sontoku. There is a museum dedicated to the town's namesake in the area of Ninomiya known as Monobe. As of 2006, the town had an estimated population of 16,765 and a density of 300.52 persons per km².

Iwase, Ibaraki

Iwase, Ibaraki is a town located in Nishiibaraki District, Ibaraki, Japan. As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 22,378 and a density of 256.75 persons per km². The total area is 87.16 km². On October 1, 2005 Iwase was merged with the town of Makabe, the village of Yamato, both from Makabe District, to form the new city of Sakuragawa. Famous for its large open cut mine and greasy restaurants located close to the station.
