Kufr Khall

Kufr Khall, (also written Kufur Khall, Kufr Khal), is a town in the north of Jordan, in the Jerash Governorate. The origin of its name, is from Syriac kafr meaning the village or the country and from Arabic khall that means vinegar, or more generally, grape. So the words Kufr Khall stand for 'the village of grapes'. Effectively, Kufr Khall is still famous nowadays for its well-known grapes production.

Souf refugee camp

Souf Camp is a Palestinian refugee camp situated nearby the town of Souf and the city of Jerash in Jordan. According to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), there was 21,900 people living in the camp in 2005, of which 20,530 were registered refugees.

Souf

Souf (سوف) is a town in Jerash Governorate, Jordan, set over a series of mountains at an altitude of 1,000 meters. Souf is situated 35 miles north of Amman the capital of Jordan. The total population of Souf exceeds 14,000 people, while it covers a wide area of agricultural land considered the widest in Jerash. For many centuries, Souf belonged to al-Meradh region; which has been called المعراض in Arabic because it defeated Bedouins used to attack on north Jordan during the 19th century.

Jordan University of Science and Technology

The Jordan University of Science and Technology, often abbreviated JUST, is a comprehensive, state-supported university located on the outskirts of Irbid,at Ar Ramtha in northern Jordan. Habaka

Habaka is a small hill town in northern Jordan, located 75 km north of the capital Amman (in Arabic عمان), and about 5 km south of Irbid . The region has a very fertile soil along with suitable climate allows the growing of wide variety of high quality crops. The main products are olives and grapes. There is a substantial area of pine forests on the hills that are extending from Ajloun. Habaka has a population of 1800.
