Punon

Punon is an ancient city in the Arava, Jordan. It was a center of Copper and Iron mines in biblical times. Today it is called Feinan or Faynan. Punon was one of the places (or "stations") visited by the Israelites during the Exodus. "They traveled from Tzalmonah, and encamped in Punon."

Dana, Jordan

Dana (ضانا) is a small village near the city of Tafilah, in central-western Jordan. It is situated on the edge of a large natural gorge, Wadi Dana and enjoys spectacular view over Wadi Araba. Wadi Musa

Wadi Musa, ("وادي موسى" in Arabic, translated as "Valley of Moses"), is the name of a town located in the Ma'an Governorate in southern Jordan east of Petra at latitude 30.317N and longitude 35.483E. It is the nearest town to the archaeological site of Petra and hosts many hotels and restaurants for tourists visiting this place. Approximately 2 kilometers from the main town, there is an important Bedouin settlement.

Al Khazneh
