Dordoy Bazaar
Dordoy Bazaar (Kyrgyz: Дордой Базары, Russian: Рынок Дордой; also spelled Dordoi Bazaar in English) is a large wholesale and retail market in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. It is one of Asia's greatest public market places, comparable to Bangkok's Chatuchak weekend market or Tehran's Grand Bazaar. It's been described by a Western journalist as "a modern monument to the power of raw commerce".

Korday
Korday or Kordai is a village in Zhambyl Province of Kazakhstan, and the administrative center of that province's Korday District. It has been formerly known under its old Russian name of Georgievka. European route E40, known locally as Highway M-39 (based on the old USSR highway numbering scheme), on its way from Bishkek to Almaty crosses the Chu River at Korday, making Korday border crossing arguably the most important crossing on the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border.

Kant, Kyrgyzstan
Kant is a town in the Chuy Valley of northern Kyrgyzstan, some 20 kilometres east of Bishkek. It is the administrative center of the Ysyk-Ata District (formerly Kant District). Kant was established in 1928. The Kyrgyz word for sugar is "kant", and the city received its name when a sugar plant was built there in the 1930s. (It is an often repeated myth that the town was named after the German philosopher Immanuel Kant). Kant is an industrial and service center.

Ysyk-Ata District
Ysyk-Ata District is one of the eight districts of Chuy Province in the northern Kyrgyzstan. The administrative center of the district is the city of Kant, and the district itself was known as Kant District in the past. The district is located on the southern side of the Chui River, about halfway between the national capital Bishkek and the former provincial capital Tokmok.
