Rosh HaNikra Crossing

The Rosh Hanikra Crossing is an international border crossing between Naqoura, Lebanon and Rosh HaNikra, Israel. The terminal is operated solely by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon and IDF and does not allow for the passage of regular tourists/visitors.

Rosh HaNikra grottoes

Rosh HaNikra is a geologic formation in Israel, located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, in the Western Galilee. It is a white chalk cliff face which opens up into spectacular grottos. The Rosh HaNikra grottos are cavernous tunnels formed by sea action on the soft chalk rock. The total length is some 200 meters. They branch off in various directions with some interconnecting segments.

Achziv

Achziv is a national park on the northern coast of Israel, 15 kilometers north of Acre, within the municipal area of Nahariya. It is a former town, settled for about three millennia. It was first settled in the Middle Canaanite (Bronze) II period by the Phoenicians. In the Bible, it is described as falling within territory assigned to the tribe of Asher. An Arab village, Az-Zeeb, was established on the site during the Mamluk period. Today Achziv is a national park.

Casal Humberti

Casal Humberti was the name of a fortress in the Achziv region of Israel named after the commander of the fort in 1104. It was later named Casal Umberti in 1197 and Casal Imbert in 1104. European farmers settled here in 1153 by Baldwin III and in 1232 was the site of a great battle between German and French Crusaders as part of the War of the Lombards.

Montfort Castle

Montfort is a ruined crusader castle in the Upper Galilee region in northern Israel, about 22 miles (35 km) northeast of the city of Haifa and 10 miles (16 km) south of the border with Lebanon. The site is now a national park inside the Nahal Kziv nature reserve, and it constitutes an important spot of tourism and attracts many tourists both from inside and outside Israel.
