The Latin name of this order is Ordo Basilianus Sanctissimi Salvatoris, the French name is Ordre Basilien Salvatorien. Joun (also Joon, Djoun, in Arabic جون, in Phoenician) is a Lebanese village sitting on seven hills in the Chouf (in Arabic قضاء الشوف) district of Mount Lebanon at a distant 13 kilometers from the city of Sidon. Joun means in Assyrian “the corner,” and it is located in between Mount Lebanon and South Lebanon, forming a corner shape. It is a village of approximately 7,400 inhabitants mainly Greek Catholic, Shiite and Maronite.

Jezzine
Jezzine is a town in Lebanon, located 22 km from Sidon and 40 km south of Beirut. Surrounded by mountain peaks, pine forests, and at an average altitude of 950 m (3,117 ft), it is the main summer resort and tourist destination of South Lebanon. The town is also famous in Lebanon for its production of handmade, traditional cutlery and daggers with decorative inlays as well as the shrine of Our Lady of the Waterfall.

Niha Chouf
Niha is a city in the Chouf which belongs to Mount Lebanon of Lebanon. The city is 24 miles from Beirut and it has about 2,750 hectares; there are 3,500 inhabitants approximately. However, there are only two public schools in the city. It is famous because of its olive groves and its grapes, apples, plums and almonds production. Its tourist attractions are The church of Saint Joseph, El Qa'ah Spring, The prophet Job tomb and The Niha's Castle.
