Jbaa

Jbaa,, is a town in the Nabatieh Governorate, or Nabatiye southern Lebanon. Jbaa Falls in the hands of the great Safi Mountain, and rises over 770 metres (in the town center) from the sea level and then begins to rise to 900 metres in the district "Ein-Elsataoun" Water flowed between the folds, the most gorgeous greenery trees diverse, especially the walnut trees spread around most of the town houses.

1956 Chim earthquake

The 1956 Chim earthquake was a destructive multiple-shock event that occurred on March 16 in Lebanon along a strand of the Dead Sea Transform (DST) fault system. The epicenter was located in the south of Lebanon in the Chouf District. Six thousand homes were destroyed and another 17,000 were damaged. The number of persons killed was 136. The twin shocks were separated by less than fifteen minutes with the first event occurring at 19:32 and the second event at 19:43 hours.

Tourist Landmark of the Resistance

The Tourist Landmark of the Resistance, also known as Museum for Resistance Tourism, is a war museum operated by Hezbollah near the village of Mleeta in southern Lebanon. The museum opened on May 25, 2010, marking the 10th anniversary of the Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon in 2000. The site was once an important base for Hezbollah fighters.

Jezzine

Jezzine is a town in Lebanon, located 22 km from Sidon and 40 km south of Beirut. Surrounded by mountain peaks, pine forests, and at an average altitude of 950 m (3,117 ft), it is the main summer resort and tourist destination of South Lebanon. The town is also famous in Lebanon for its production of handmade, traditional cutlery and daggers with decorative inlays as well as the shrine of Our Lady of the Waterfall.
