Howald

Howald is a town in the commune of Hesperange, in southern Luxembourg. The town merges almost seamlessly with Luxembourg City's south-eastern suburban quarter of South Bonnevoie, which lies to the north of Howald. As of 2006, the town has a population of 4,760, making it the most populous town in the commune and the 22nd-most populous in Luxembourg.

Cessange

Cessange is a quarter in south-western Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. Most of the quarter is covered by open fields to the south-west of Luxembourg City proper. At the centre of the quarter is the Croix de Cessange: a motorway junction between the A4 and the A6. Next to the intersection is Stade Boy Konen, which plays host to Cessange FC, Rugby Club Luxembourg, and the Luxembourg national rugby union team.

Hollerich

Hollerich is a quarter in south-western Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. In 2001, the quarter had a population of 5,569 people. Hollerich railway station is located on Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois Line 70, which connects Luxembourg City to the south-west of the country. Hollerich station is only 600 metres to the south-west of the country's main terminus, Luxembourg railway station, and just to the west of a major junction that separates traffic exiting Luxembourg station to the south.

Bonnevoie

Bonnevoie is an area of south-eastern Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. It is divided between the quarters of North Bonnevoie-Verlorenkost and South Bonnevoie. It is the biggest neighbourhood in the city, with more than 15,000 inhabitants. Famous people born in Bonnevoie include: John E. Dolibois, United States ambassador to Luxembourg Hugo Gernsback, editor and science fiction author François Hentges, gymnast Gabriel Lippmann, French physicist and Nobel Prize laureate (1908)
