Fanjakana is a town and commune in Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Beroroha, which is a part of Atsimo-Andrefana Region. The population of the commune was estimated to be approximately 4,000 in 2001 commune census. Primary and junior level secondary education are available in town. The majority 92% of the population of the commune are farmers, while an additional 6% receives their livelihood from raising livestock.

Beroroha

Beroroha is a town in Atsimo-Andrefana Region, Madagascar. Made up of 17 villages, the commune has a total population of 17,000. The area was severely affected by the 2009 cyclone Fanele, and currently NGO HoverAid are working there as long-term development programmes are underway. Beroroha lies on the Mangoky river, which is fast flowing, and can vary between 5 m and 500 m wide. The road to Beroroha is only possible with 4x4 and normally takes two days from Antananarivo.

Behisatra

Behisatra is a town and commune in Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Beroroha, which is a part of Atsimo-Andrefana Region. The population of the commune was estimated to be approximately 15,000 in 2001 commune census. Only primary schooling is available. The majority 90% of the population of the commune are farmers, while an additional 7% receives their livelihood from raising livestock. The most important crop is rice, while other important products are maize and cassava.
