Falémé River

Falémé River at Kidira Average monthly flow (m/s) at the Kidira hydrometric station over the period 1904-1984 The Falémé River is a river in West Africa. The Falémé arises in northern Guinea and flows in a north-northeast direction to Mali, forming a short portion of the border between Guinea and Senegal. It turns north and then forms a portion of the border between Mali and Senegal, before joining the Sénégal River 50 km upstream of the town of Bakel in Senegal.

Karakoro River

The Karakoro River is a small seasonal tributary of the Sénégal River that forms part of the Mauritania-Mali border. The source of the river is northeast of Kiffa in Mauritania. The river flows south in the flat sahel region of southern Mauritania, crossing a number of shallow depressions, before joining the Sénégal River on the left bank a few kilometres downstream of the small Malian town of Ambidedi.
