Mount Tlaloc

Mount Tlaloc is a mountain in central Mexico, located east of Mexico City. Its height is 13,615 ft. (4,151 metres). It was a sacred mountain of the Aztecs who worshipped the raingod Tlaloc here. On the summit there are remains of an Aztec shrine where ceremonies, among them human sacrifices, were carried out.

Tequexquinahuac

Tequexquinahuac belongs to the municipality of Tlalnepantla de Baz in the State of Mexico, Mexico. Tequexquinahuac is a neighborhood of approximately 2,000 inhabitants that is situated in the metropolitan zone of Mexico City, to the north of the delegacion (borough)of Azcapotzalco. Tequexquinahuac has changed from a common town to being an important region between Cuautitlan Izcalli (one of the most important industrialized municipalities in the state of Mexico) and Mexico City.

Coatlinchan

Coatlinchan is a town in the Mexican state of Mexico. A colossal statue over a thousand years old that was thought to represent Tlaloc was found in the town of Coatlinchan Mexico. This statue was made of Basalt and weighed an estimated 168 tons. It was moved to the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City in 1964 on a special trailer with dozens of rubber tires. This didn't happen until they promised the residents of the town to provide a large amount of public works.

Chimalhuacán (archaeological site)

Chimalhuacán is an archeological site located in the city and municipality of Chimalhuacán Atenco in the eastern part of Mexico State, Mexico. It lies just outside the northeast border of the Federal District (Distrito Federal). The name derives from the Nahuatl words “chimalli” (shield), hua (possession particle) and can (place), this would mean "Place of Shields". The ancient name of the city by its founders was “Chimalhuacantoyac”.

Chimalhuacán

Chimalhuacán (Nahuatl for "place of those who have shields") is a city and municipality located in the eastern part of Mexico State, Mexico. It lies just outside the northeast border of the Federal District (Distrito Federal) and is part of the Greater Mexico City urban area.
