Tezonapa is a municipality located in the high mountains region in the State of Veracruz, Mexico, about 219 km from state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 351 km2. Mixtla de Altamirano is a Municipality in Veracruz, Mexico. It is located in central zone of the State of Veracruz, about 247 km from state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 60.87 km2. The municipality of Mixtla de Altamirano is delimited to the north by Texhuacán, to the east by Zongolica, to the south by Tehuipango and to the west by Astacinga. It produces principally maize and coffee.

Zongolica

Zongolica is a municipality located in the south zone in the State of Veracruz, about 100 km from state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 63.34 km². It is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:18|40|N|97|00|W||| | |name= }}. The name comes from Náhuatl Tzontli-coliuhqui 'crafty hair'. The municipality of Zongolica is bordered to the north by Tequila and Omealca, to the east by Tezonapa, to the south by Puebla State and to the west by Los Reyes.

Omealca, Veracruz

Omealca is a municipality of the state of Veracruz in Mexico. It is also the name of the city which serves as the municipality seat. Omealca means place between two rivers in nahuatl, due to it being next to Blanco river and above a subterranean one. The city has a population of about 29,300. The population of Omealca is mostly descended from African slaves and Amerindians, with exception of a few families with European descendance.
