Bukalo

Bukalo is a settlement area in Namibia in the Caprivi region. It is situated about 40 km east of Katima Mulilo. It is where the Masubia Khuta is based under the control of Chief Liswani III. Currently, the Khuta is without a Ngambela, after Chrispin Katukula was ousted from his seat. Bukalo is inhabited by people from the Zambezi flood plains.

East Caprivi

East Caprivi was a bantustan in South West Africa, intended by the apartheid government to be a self-governing homeland for the Lozi people. It was set up in 1972 and self-government was granted in 1976. The homeland was renamed Lozi soon after. Lozi, like other homelands in South West Africa, was abolished in May 1989 at the start of the transition to independence.

Cuando River

The Cuando River (usually spelled Kwando in Namibia) is a river in south-central Africa flowing through Angola and Namibia's Caprivi Strip, into the Linyanti Swamp on the northern border of Botswana. Below the swamp the river is called the Linyanti River, and further east the Chobe River, before it flows into the Zambezi River.

Katima Mulilo Airport

Katima Mulilo Airport, also known as Mpacha Airport, serves Katima Mulilo, the capital of the Caprivi Region in Namibia. The airport is situated on the B8 road, about 18 km southwest of the center of Katima Mulilo.
