Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science

The Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS) is an agricultural institute under Agriculture and Forestry University in Nepal for college level training in agriculture and animal sciences. The IAAS originated as a school of agriculture established in 1957 in Kathmandu to train Junior Technical Assistants. In 1968 the school was upgraded to a college of agriculture.

It is operated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) and is served by Nepal Airlines, the national airline which earns most of its revenue from this airport. Bharatpur Airport is the country's 4th busiest.

Narayangarh, Chitwan

Narayangarh (also Narayangadh or Narayanghat) is a part of the city of Bharatpur in Chitwan District in the central part of Nepal, 146 km due west of Kathmandu, and 136 km from Pokhara, at the Narayani River where it leaves the Mahabharat Range. It is situated at a latitude of 27.70 deg. and longitude: 84.42 deg. Its area is 554.0 km².

Chitwan District

Chitwan District (Nepali: चितवन जिल्ला, is one of the seventy-five Districts of Nepal, a landlocked country of South Asia. The district is in the western part of Narayani Zone with Bharatpur, the Fifth largest city of Nepal, as its district headquarters. It covers an area of 2,218 km, and in 2011 had a population of 579,984 people. Bharatpur is a commercial and service centre of central south Nepal and merger destination for higher education, health care and transportation of the region.

Ratnanagar

Ratnanagar is a Municipality in Chitwan District of Nepal. It is the second municipality in the district. Tandi was the major town of the former Village Development Committee that was incorporated into Ratnanagar. It is adjacent to Chitwan National Park, and serves as a gateway to the park.
