San Dionisio is a small municipality in the Matagalpa department of Nicaragua. Originally named Espino Blanco, the town was renamed San Dionisio in honor of Dionisio Herrera, former president of Nicaragua. This small town is 90 miles away from Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, and 30 miles away from Matagalpa city, the capital of the Metagalpa Department. Muy Muy

Muy Muy is a municipality in the Matagalpa department of Nicaragua. Although "Muy Muy" means "very very" in Spanish, the municipality was named so by the Nahuatl, for whom "muymuy" means "nutria," which were once found in abundance in the region. This needs to be clarified, since the meaning of "nutria" is not clear. It seems that in North America, "nutria" means "coypu" (myocastor coypus), an animal related to the beaver (genus castoridae).

San Ramón, Matagalpa

San Ramón is a municipality in the Matagalpa department of Nicaragua. San Ramon lies 12 kilometers northeast of the departmental capital of Matagalpa (city and department are both named Matagalpa). The 12-kilometer drive takes about 25 minutes by bus as the road is for the most part unpaved, as they have not yet fully reconstructed the routes that existed prior to Hurricane Mitch. San Ramon was established in 1800, having previously been called by the indigenous name "Abai".

San José de los Remates is a municipality in the Boaco department of Nicaragua. It has a population of 9,600 (2006, est. ) and an extension of 280.46 km². The economy is based mainly on agricultural and agropecuarian activities. The capital is the town of San José de Boaco located 96 km. from Managua.
