Port Harcourt NAF Base

Port Harcourt NAF Base is located in Port Harcourt, a city in the Rivers State of Nigeria. It is a base owned by the Nigerian Air Force. It gained popularity as a commercial destination due to the closure of Port Harcourt International Airport. After that airport reopened, most airlines abandoned the base. Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145

Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 was a scheduled flight between the Nigerian cities of Abuja and Port Harcourt. At about 14:08 local time on 10 December 2005, Flight 1145 from Abuja crash-landed at Port Harcourt International Airport. The plane, a McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 with 110 people on board, burst into flames.
