Kaesong Industrial Region

Kaesŏng Industrial Region is a special administrative industrial region of North Korea. It was formed in 2002 from part of Kaesŏng Directly Governed City. On 3 April 2013, the DPRK blocked access to the region, to all South Korean citizens, as political tensions between the two nations rose.

Kijong-dong

Kijŏngdong, Kijŏng-dong or Kijŏng tong is a village in P'yŏnghwa-ri, Kaesong-si, North Korea. It is situated in the North's half of the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Also known in North Korea as Peace Village, it has been widely referred to as Propaganda Village by those outside North Korea, especially in Western and South Korean media.

North Korea Peace Museum

The North Korea Peace Museum is in the building constructed to house the signing of the Korean War Armistice Agreement on 27 July 1953. It is located in the former village of Panmunjeom (P'anmunjŏm) in North Hwanghae Province, North Korea. It is located approximately 1.2 kilometres west of the Joint Security Area (JSA), in the northern half of the Demilitarized Zone.

Panmunjom

Panmunjom, located in Gyeonggi Province, is an abandoned village on the de facto border between North and South Korea, where the 1953 Korean Armistice Agreement that paused the Korean War was signed. The building where the armistice was signed still stands, though it is north of the Military Demarcation Line, which runs through the middle of the Demilitarized Zone.

Koryo Songgyungwan University

Koryo Songgyungwan University or University of Light Industry (고려 성균관 대학교) is an educational institution in North Korean city of Kaesong. The university was founded in 992 with the name Gukjagam. It was renamed Seonggyungam in 1298 and Seonggyungwan in 1308.
