Braathens SAFE Flight 239

Braathen SAFE Flight 239 was a flight between Ålesund Airport, Vigra and Oslo Airport, Fornebu which crashed in Asker on 23 December 1972, killing 40 people. It was the worst airline disaster involving a Norwegian airline until Partnair Flight 394 in 1989, and the worst disaster on Norwegian soil until Vnukovo Airlines Flight 2801 in 1996. It was also the first fatal crash of a Fokker Fellowship and the most fatal accident of Braathens SAFE.

Sollihøgda

Sollihøgda is a village in Hole municipality, in the county of Buskerud, Norway. It is situated near the border with the municipality of Bærum, in the county of Akershus, 28 km from Oslo. The European route E16 passes here. The village is a popular base for skiing at Krokskogen north of the road and in Vestmarka on the south side in the Oslomarka area in Oslo. Vestmarka is the southern continuation of Krokskogen. Sollihøgda Chapel (Sollihøgda kapell) dates from 1911. The wooden church seats 70.

Lierskogen

Lierskogen is the easternmost village in Lier county, in Buskerud county, Norway. Situated in the south-east corner of Buskerud, it borders Asker to the east, and make up the eastern part of Lier county together with the nearby village of Tranby. Traditionally Lierskogen has been a place living from farming, but after World War II many new families have moved in. These families have usually been living there, but non-agriculture work is scarce.
