Sørfjorden (Hardanger)

Sørfjorden is a 38 kilometre long fjord arm of the Hardangerfjord in Hordaland county, Norway. The longest arm of the Hardangerfjord, Sørfjorden stretches from north of Kinsarvik to the industrial town of Odda. The glacier of Folgefonna is located to its west, while the mountain plateau of Hardangervidda lies to its east.

Nordre Folgefonna

Nordre Folgefonna (Northern Folgefonna) is one of the largest glaciers in mainland Norway. It is the northernmost of the three glaciers that make up Folgefonna. Its highest point is 1,640 m above sea level, and its lowest point is 990 m above sea level.

Midtre Folgefonna

The glacier Midtre Folgefonna is located in Hordaland, Norway. It is one of the three glaciers of Folgefonna, between Nordre and Søndre Folgefonna. In 1969 the area was listed as 13 km². The glacier drains partly to Maurangerfjord to the west, and partly to Sørfjorden to the east.

Tyssedal Hydroelectric Power Station

The Tyssedal Power Station is a hydroelectric power station and museum located in Tyssedal in the municipality Odda in Hordaland, Norway. The station was designed by architect Thorvald Astrup. It started production in 1906 and operated at a combined installed capacity of 100 MW from 1918, with an average annual production of 700 GWh. The plant was protected by the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage in 2000, and is part of the Norwegian Museum of Hydropower and Industry.

Norwegian Museum of Hydropower and Industry

The Norwegian Museum of Hydropower and Industry (Norwegian: Norsk Vasskraft- og Industristadmuseum) is a cultural history museum in Tyssedal and Odda in Hordaland county, Norway.
