Sørli Church

Sørli Church is a parish church in the municipality of Lierne in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Sørli. The church is part of the Sørli parish in the Namdal deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros. The wooden church was constructed in 1873 and it seats about 250 people. The architect Carl J. Bergstrøm designed the building.

Lenglingen

Lenglingen is a lake in the municipality of Lierne in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. The 16.9-square-kilometre lake is fed by the lakes Holden and Gusvatnet, and the water from Lenglingen flows south into the lake Ulen. The village of Sørli lies on the southeastern shore of the lake.

Lierne National Park

Lierne National Park lies in the municipality of Lierne in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. The park was established on 17 December 2004 by a royal resolution. The park covers 333 square kilometres of land along the border with Sweden. The park is dominated by a large mountainous region rich in lynx, wolverines, bears, and wildfowl. The rare Arctic fox also live in the area. Much of the land was formed during the last Ice Age.

Ulen (lake)

Ulen is a lake in the municipality of Lierne in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. The 6.23-square-kilometre lake lies south of the village of Sørli. Water flows south from the lake Lenglingen into Ulen, and it then continues south into the lake Rengen (which goes into Sweden).

Rengen

Rengen is a lake on the border between Sweden and Norway. The 21.49-square-kilometre lake covers 15.72 square kilometres in Norway and 5.77 square kilometres in Sweden. The Norwegian part is located in the municipality of Lierne in Nord-Trøndelag county, and the Swedish part is located in the municipality of Krokom in Jämtland County. Water flows into Rengen from the lake Ulen to the north.
