Namdalseid Church

Namdalseid Church is a parish church in the municipality of Namdalseid in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Namdalseid, along Norwegian County Road 17. The church is part of the Namdalseid parish in the Nord-Innherad deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros. The wooden church was constructed in 1858 to seat about 450 people. Christian Heinrich Grosch was the architect of the church.

Sverka

Sverka is a small river in the municipality of Namdalseid in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It flows from the lakes called Finnvollvatnet and Furudalsvatnet northeast past the Sverkmoen area to the lake Øyungen. At Øyungen, it joins the river Øyensåa which continues until it joins with the Ferja. There, it becomes the river Årgårdselva which flows to the Namsenfjorden. There is good salmon fishing in the lower parts of the river. The river system is about 5 kilometres long.

Skjærsjøen

Skjærsjøen is a regulated lake in Nordmarka, Oslo, Norway. It drains through the river Skjærsjøelva to Maridalsvannet, and also via tubes to the Hammeren Hydroelectric Power Station. It is regulated by the dam Skjærsjødammen from 1890.

Hoddøya

Hoddøya is an island in the municipality of Namsos in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It lies in the Namsenfjorden, about 12 kilometres west of the town of Namsos. The island is located between the island of Otterøya (to the north and east) and the mainland of Flatanger (to the south and west).

Statland Church

Statland Church is a parish church in the municipality of Namdalseid in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Statland. The church is part of the Statland parish in the Namdal deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros. The wooden church was constructed in 1992 and was consecrated on 10 May 1992 by Bishop Finn Wagle. The church was designed by the architect Reidar Moholdt, and it seats about 140 people.
