Hemnes Church

Hemnes Church is a parish church in the municipality of Hemnes in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Hemnesberget. The church is part of the Hemnes parish in the Indre Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white, wooden, octagonal church was built in 1872 by the architect Niels Stockfleth Darre Eckhoff.

Ranfjord

The Ranfjorden (or just Ranfjord) is a fjord in the Helgeland district of Nordland county, Norway. The largest part of the fjord is in the municipality of Rana, but the fjord also passes through Hemnes, Vefsn, Leirfjord, Nesna, and Dønna. The river Ranelva meets the Ranfjord in at the town of Mo i Rana at the innermost part of the fjord. It then flows to the west for about 68 kilometres to where it meets the sea along the border of Dønna and Nesna municipalities.

Elsfjord Church

Elsfjord Church is a parish church in the municipality of Vefsn in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Elsfjord. The church is part of the Elsfjord parish in the Indre Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The red church building was constructed in 1955 to serve the Elsfjord area. It was consecrated on 18 September 1955.

Korgen Church

Korgen Church is a parish church in the municipality of Hemnes in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Korgen. The church is part of the Korgen parish in the Indre Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white wooden church was built in 1863 by the architect Nils Grenstad.

Korgfjell Tunnel

The Korgfjell Tunnel is an 8,530-metre long road tunnel connecting Knutli in Vefsn with Korgen in Hemnes, both in Nordland county in northern Norway. Work on the tunnel started in September of 2001 and it was opened on 16 September 2005. The tunnel replaced a narrow, steep, twisting mountain road and shortened the European route E06 highway by 4 kilometres . The travel time was shortened by 10–20 minutes.
