The University of Nordland, previously Bodø University College, is a public university located in Bodø, Norway. The university is located 10 km outside the city centre. Mørkved

Mørkved is a neighborhood of Bodø, Norway, about 10 kilometers east of the town center. It is largely a residential area, but also is the site of Bodin Upper Secondary School, a campus of the Norwegian Police University College and Bodø University College. The neighborhood lays along National Road 80. Mørkved Station on the Nordland Line opened in 1987 and was renovated in 2010.

Saltstraumen Church

Saltstraumen Church is a parish church in the municipality of Bodø in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Saltstraumen. The church is part of the Saltstraumen parish in the Bodø deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white, wooden church was built in 1886. Around 1900 it was moved about 300 metres away from its original location due to soil instability.

Saltstraumen

Saltstraumen is a small strait with a very strong tidal current located in the municipality of Bodø in Nordland county, Norway. It is located about 10 kilometres southeast of the town of Bodø. The narrow channel connects the outer Saltfjorden to the large Skjerstadfjorden between the islands of Straumøya and Knaplundsøya. The Saltstraumen Bridge on Norwegian County Road 17 crosses the Saltstraumen.
