Fåberg

Fåberg is a village and former municipality in Oppland county, Norway. The parish of Faaberg was established as a municipality January 1, 1838. On January 1, 1964 Fåberg was incorporated into the neighboring municipality Lillehammer. Prior to the merger Fåberg had 13,381 inhabitants. The district Fåberg contains the villages Fåberg and Jørstadmoen. Combined, they form an urban area with a population of 1,342.

Lillehammer University College

Lillehammer University College is a Norwegian state-run university college located at Storhove in Lillehammer. It was established in 1971 as Oppland College and took its current form in 1995. It is located in the television and radio center built for the 1994 Winter Olympic Games.

Lillehammer Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge Track

Lillehammer Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge Track (Norwegian: Lillehammer Olympiske Bob- og Akebane) is a bobsleigh, luge and skeleton track located at Hunderfossen in Lillehammer, Norway, 15 kilometers north of the town center of Lillehammer. It was completed in 1992 for the 1994 Winter Olympics, where it hosted the bobsleigh events and luge events.

Hunderfossen Station

Hunderfossen Station is a railway station located at the village of Hunderfossen in Lillehammer, Norway. The station is located on Dovrebanen and served express trains to Oslo and Trondheim. The station was opened in 1986 and serves the areas of Øyer, the Hafjell skiing resort and Hunderfossen Family Park.

Gudbrandsdalslågen

The Gudbrandsdalslågen (or the Lågen) river flows through the Gudbrandsdal of Norway. The Gudbrandsdalslågen begins in the lake Lesjaskogsvatnet (or Lesjavatn), which lies in Lesja municipality in Oppland. Lesjavatn is the only lake in Norway which has two outlets; they flow into two of Norway’s more famous rivers.
