Strondafjorden is a lake which lies in the municipalities of Nord-Aurdal and Vestre Slidre in Oppland county, Norway. The lake is part of the Begna watershed. It has an area of 13.24 km² and is 46.01 km around. It lies at an elevation of 355 m above sea level.

Skrautvål

Skrautvål is a village in Nord-Aurdal, Oppland, Norway. It is located north of Fagernes, and north-east of the lake Sæbufjorden and Norwegian National Road 51. The local sports team is Skrautvål IL, of which Inger Helene Nybråten is the most prominent member. Also, Olav Meisdalshagen grew up somewhat north of Skrautvål.

Fagernes

is the administrative centre of the municipality of Nord-Aurdal, in Oppland county, Norway. It is the largest settlement in the valley of Valdres, with a population of 1,801. On 14 June 2007 the municipal council of Nord-Aurdal decided to bestow city status upon Fagernes. The decision came into force on 8 September 2007, when Fagernes celebrated its 150th anniversary.

Røn

Røn is a village in the municipality of Vestre Slidre, Norway. It is located where the Slidrefjord and the Strondafjord meet, a few miles along the E16 south of the centre Slidre. Its population is 302.

Valdres

Valdres is a traditional district in central, southern Norway, situated between Gudbrandsdal and Hallingdal. The region around Valdres consists of the districts of Nord-Aurdal, Sør-Aurdal, Øystre Slidre, Vestre Slidre, Vang and Etnedal. Valdres has about 18,000 inhabitants and is known for its excellent trout fishing. The main road is E16 and Riksvei_51.
