Sandane Airport, Anda (Norwegian: Sandane lufthavn, Anda) is an airport in Gloppen municipality in Sogn og Fjordane, Norway, opened in 1975. The airport is located north of the municipality centre, at the base of a peninsula between the fjords Nordfjord and Gloppefjord. The airport is operated by Avinor, and serve the towns of Sandane and Nordfjordeid, as well as surrounding areas.

Firda Upper Secondary School

Firda Upper Secondary School (Norwegian: Firda vidaregåande skule) is a school located in the town of Sandane in the municipality of Gloppen in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The highway E39 passes just north of the school. In 1927, Kaare Fostervoll who was later director-general of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation was a headmaster here from 1927–1938.

Eidselva

For other places named Eidselva, see Eidselva (disambiguation) Eidselva lies in Nome municipality in Telemark. It rises in Flåvatn, and runs into Norsjø in Ulefoss. The river is part of Skiensvassdraget, and an important part of the Telemark Canal. On the stretch from Ulefoss to Flåvatn there are six sluices (14 sluicegates), with a total rise of around 57 meter. In the river, there are four hydroelecric power stations: Eidsfoss, Vrangfoss, Ulefoss and Aall-Ulefoss.

Hornindalsvatnet

Hornindalsvatnet is Norway's and Europe's deepest lake, officially measured to a depth of 514 metres . Its surface is 53 metres above sea level, which means that its bottom is 461 metres below sea level. The village of Grodås lies at the eastern end of the lake in Hornindal and the village of Mogrenda is located on the western end of the lake in Eid. The E39 highway runs past Mogrenda and the lake.

Breimsvatn

Breimsvatn (or Breimsvatnet) is a lake in the municipalities of Gloppen and Jølster in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. At 22.52 square kilometres, it is the largest lake in Gloppen (followed by the lake Emhjellevatnet). The highway E39 runs along the north end of the lake, connecting the two nearby areas of Sandane and Byrkjelo. On the shores of the 17-kilometre long lake lie several villages including Breim and Kandal.
