Byneset Church

Byneset Church is a medieval church in the Byneset area of the city of Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The church was consecrated to the saint Michael. The year consecration is not exactly known, but it is assumed that it was about 1180. The same mason signatures are also found at the Nidaros Cathedral, indicating that the same masons were used in the construction of both churches. The church is part of the Byneset parish in the Heimdal deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros.

Gaula (Sør-Trøndelag)

Gaula flows through the Gauldal valley in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is the biggest river in Central Norway. The river begins in Holtålen near the mountain Kjølifjellet. It then flows through the municipalities of Holtålen, Midtre Gauldal, and Melhus before emptying into the Trondheimsfjord near Leinstrand on the border between Trondheim and Melhus. The Gaula River is approximately 145 kilometres long and it drains a watershed of 3,661 square kilometres .
