Ålen Station is a railway station located in the village of Ålen in the municipality of Holtålen in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located on the Rørosbanen railway line. The station is served three times daily in each direction by Trøndelag Commuter Rail between Røros and Trondheim. The service is operated by Norges Statsbaner. The station was opened in 1901.

Ålen Church

Ålen Church is a parish church in the municipality of Holtålen in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The church is located in the village of Ålen. The church was built in 1881 by architect Jacob Digre. Hessdalen AMS

The Hessdalen Automatic Measurement Station (or Hessdalen AMS) is an automatically working observation station in the Hessdalen area in the municipality of Holtålen in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is used for registering Hessdalen lights. It has been in service since 7 August 1998, and it is equipped with a magnetometer, two black and white TV cameras, and one colour TV camera. The AMS regularly registers light phenomena.
