Seljordsvatnet

Seljordsvatnet is a lake in the municipality Seljord in Telemark, Norway. The main influx river is Vallaråi, and the lake drains through Bøelva. The lake covers an area of 16.7 km2. According to local folklore a sea serpent lives in the lake.

Åsgrend

Åsgrend is a small parish in the council of Kviteseid, the county of Telemark in the Kingdom of Norway. Åsgrend is also known as Heggtveit which is also the name of the lower region of the parish. About 100 people live in Åsgrend. In summertime Åsgrend attracts many tourists from all over the world who come to admire the beauty of the peculiar nature of Vestern-Telemark, hiking and fishing.

Morgedal

Morgedal, of the municipality of Kviteseid in the county of Telemark Norway, is called the cradle of skiing. Morgedal, Norway is a village whose most famous residents were Sondre Norheim, known to be the father of modern skiing plus Torjus Hemmestveit and Mikkjel Hemmestveit. The Hemmestveit brothers created the world's first skiing school at Christiania, Norway in 1881 before emigrating to the United States in the late 19th century.
