Langøy, Telemark

Langøy is an island in the municipality of Kragerø in Telemark county, Norway. An area of 6,6 km² makes it the second largest island of Kragerø after Skåtøy. Its name, which means "Long island", reflects its shape only to some extent. The island is populated, and there is a ferry, operated by Kragerø Fjordbåtselskap, connecting the island to the town of Kragerø. On the island is found several old mines, that used to provide iron to the ironworks of Fritzøe and Bærum.

Skåtøy Church

Skåtøy Church (or Skåtøy kirke in Norwegian) is a church on Skåtøy, an island in the skerries outside the town of Kragerø, Norway. It is also known as the Cathedral of the Skerries. Skåtøy Church was built in 1862. It is one of the largest churches in Norway built of wood, with seats for 600 people. It was the most important church in the region until 1960. This historical site is reachable by boat and recalls Kragerø's "golden days".

Skåtøy

Skåtøy' is a the largest island in Kragerø municipality in Telemark county, Norway. Skåtøy was formerly a municipality. Skåtøy was separated from Sannidal January 1, 1882. It was merged with Kragerø January 1, 1960. Skåtøy is the biggest island in the skerries outside the town of Kragerø, Norway. The island is 8.8 km2 and is partially wooded. It has only a small year round population. Skåtøy and Kragerø are popular holiday destinations among Norwegians.

Kilsfjord, Telemark

Kragerø archipelago]] Kilsfjord is a fjord in Kragerø municipality, Telemark county, Norway. Kilsfjord is a continuation of Kragerøfjorden. Kilsfjord extends west from Tåtøy, an island in the archipelago just south of Kragerø. The area goes in a westerly direction and broadens further in. It then turns to the north and narrows sharply again, before ending at the village of Kil at the head of the fjord.
