Harstad Church

Harstad Church is a parish church in the municipality of Harstad in Troms county, Norway. It is located in the town of Harstad. The church is part of the Harstad parish in the Trondenes deanery in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The white concrete church was built in 1958 by the architect Jan Inge Hovig. The large church seats about 500 people.

Harstad University College

Harstad University College (Norwegian: Høgskolen i Harstad or HiH) is a høgskolen, a Norwegian state institution of higher education, in the city of Harstad in Troms county, Norway. It was originally established on 28 October 1983. The present organization was established on 1 August 1994 as a result of the merging of three regional høgskolen. Harstad University College has about 1300 students and 120 employees (in 2012).

Trondenes Church

Trondenes Church is the northernmost medieval stone church of Norway. It is a parish church in the municipality of Harstad in Troms county, Norway. It is located in the village of Trondenes. The church is part of the Trondenes parish in the Trondenes deanery in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. Though frequently mentioned as a 13th century church, dating based on dendrochronology places its completion shortly after 1434.

Kanebogen School

Kanebogen skole is an elementary school in Kanebogen, a part of Harstad city in North Norway. It has more than 300 pupils in classes from 1st to 7th grade and about 50 employees. Situated right next to the school on the northern side is a stadium for sports, Kanebogen Stadion, which was opened in 1979.

The church was designed by architect Jim Myrstad, and it seats 120 people, but can be expanded up to 500 people.
