Knaben

Knaben is a former mining community in the northern part of Kvinesdal municipality, Norway, and currently a popular ski resort. The settlement lies about 630 metres above sea level. The molybdenum mines were operated from 1885 to 1973. Buildings and constructions are still partly intact. The workers' living houses are now used as tourist lodgings.

Snartemo Station is a railway station located at the village of Snartemo in Hægebostad, Norway on the railway Sørlandsbanen. The station is served by regional trains operated by Norwegian State Railways to Stavanger and Kristiansand. The station is situated in a 500-meter break between the two tunnels Hægebostad Tunnel and Kvineshei Tunnel at 8,474 meters and 9,065 meters length, respectively.
