Oman LNG

Oman LNG is a LNG plant in Qalhat near Sur, Oman. The company was established by the Royal decree of Sultan Qaboos of Oman in 1994. The construction was launched in November 1996, and the plant was commissioned in September 2000. The main shareholder is the Government of Oman (51%) in cooperation with Royal Dutch Shell (30%), Total S.A. (5.54%), Korea LNG (5%), Partex Oil & Gas (2%), Mitsubishi Corporation (2.77%), Mitsui & Co. (2.77%), and Itochu Corporation (0.92%).

Qalhat LNG Terminal

Qalhat LNG Terminal which is also known as Port of Qalhat is situated in Ash Sharqiyah Region of Oman near Sur. This port is owned by Oman LNG LLC S.A.O.C.. Osaka Gas has a 3% equity interests in Qalhat LNG along with Itochu Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation. These three Japanese companies have a 9% stake in total and have entered into multi-year LNG supply agreements with Oman.

Sur Sports Complex

Sur Sports Complex is a multi-use stadium in Sur, Oman. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Sur. The stadium has a capacity of 8,000 people and was opened in 1996.

Sur, Oman

Sur is a capital city of Ash Sharqiyah Region, northeastern Oman, on the coast of the Gulf of Oman. It is located at around {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:22|34|0|N|59|31|44|E| | |name= }}, and is 93 miles (150 km) southeast of the Omani capital Muscat. Historically the city is known for being an important destination point for sailors. Today the sea still plays an important part of life in Sur.
