Hayatabad

Hayatabad is a modern suburb on the south-western fringe of Peshawar, the capital of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It was named after Hayat Sherpao, former Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and a notable leader of Pakistan Peoples Party. It is close to the Khyber Agency which leads to Khyber Pass, a prominent route through the Hindu Kush mountains to Landi Kotal, the highest point of the pass, and the Afghan border.

Jamrud Fort

The Jamrud Fort is located at the entrance to the Khyber Pass in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. In 1837, the fort was captured from Afghan ruler Dost Mohammad Khan by the invading Sikhs of Punjab. During the Battle of Jamrud, between Muslims and Sikhs, Sikh Commander Hari Singh Nalwa was killed but the fort was defended by the Sikhs. "In 1836 Dost Mohammad's forces, under the command of his son Akbar Khan, defeated the Sikhs at Jamrud, a post fifteen kilometers west of Peshawar.

Islamia Colony

Islamia Colony is one of the neighbourhoods of S.I.T.E. Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. There are several ethnic groups in Islamia Colony including Muhajirs, Punjabis, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, Memons, Bohras, Ismailis, etc. Over 99% of the population is Muslim. Islamia College University

Islamia College is a renowned educational institution located in the city of Peshawar in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It was founded in October 1913 by regional leader Nawab Sir Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum and then Chief Commissioner of the province Sir George Roos-Keppel in an effort to provide quality education to the region's youth. Today, the college educates its students in arts, humanities and modern sciences.

Khyber Teaching Hospital

Khyber Teaching Hospital is a university hospital of Khyber Medical College in the city of Peshawar, Pakistan. KTH is one of the largest hospitals in the country.
