Battle of Saragarhi
The Battle of Saragarhi was fought during the Tirah Campaign on 12 September 1897 between twenty-one Sikhs of the 4th Battalion of the Sikh Regiment of British India, defending an army post, and 10,000 Afghan and Orakzai tribesmen. The battle occurred in the North-West Frontier Province, which formed part of British India. It is now named the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and is part of Pakistan. Ahin Posh
Ahan Posh or Ahan Posh Tape is an ancient archaeological site in Orakzai in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. It is near the Afghanistan city of Jellalabad. The ruins of a Buddhist monastery are located there, in which coins of the Kushan king Kanishka were found together with a golden amulet, and a gold coin of the Roman emperor Trajan and empress Sabina coined between 128-137 CE. These form part of the collections of the British Museum.
