Aloch (آلوچ) is a town in Shangla District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa included in Puran tehsil. Aloch is a commercial place for business community. Union Council Aloch is the largest Union Council of Tehsil Puran both on area and population basis. Aloch and Nimkalay comparatively have more facilities than the rest of Shangla District. Karindara

Karindara is a small village in the Martung tehsil of Shangla District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is situated about 5 km north-east of Koozkalai Martung on a jeep track between Chakesar and Martung.

Malam Jabba

Malam Jabba is a Hill Station in the Karakoram mountain range nearly 40 km from Saidu Sharif in Swat Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is 314 km from Islamabad and 51 km from Saidu Sharif Airport. Malam Jabba is home to the only ski resort in Pakistan. The area also contains two Buddhist stupas and six monasteries that are scattered around the resort. The presence of the monuments at such a height indicates that the area has been inhabited for over 2000 years.

Chakesar

Chakesar is a town of the Shangla District in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is situated about 6 km in the north-west on the right bank of the Indus River. The inhabitants primarily live on agriculture. On 8 October 2005, the region was severely hit by an earthquake, leaving many people homeless. Chakesar is believed to be setting on a river delta formation in a valley of 3 km wide by 5 km long at the elevation of 1150m above sea level.
