Rikhi

Rikhi is a village situated on Mianwali-Rawalpindi road, on the northern side of Namal Lake. Rikhi is at a distance of 32 kilometers from Mianwali city. The name Rikhi originated from the name of Mountain waterfall Rikhi which starts from salt range usually during rainy season and coming down, passing through village rikhi and then it goes to Namal lake. Previously it was called Trikhi (Local Language word) meaning Fast Due to its Fast flow. But Later on, it changed from Trikhi to Rikhi.

Namal Lake

Namal Lake is located in Rikhi, a village on one corner of the Namal valley in Mianwali, Punjab, Pakistan. It was formed following the construction of Namal Dam in 1913. Namal Dam is situated some 32 km from Mianwali city. The lake has a surface area of 5.5 km². There are mountains on its western and southern sides. On the other two sides are agricultural areas.

Thamewali

Thamewali is a town and union council of Mianwali District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is part of Mianwali Tehsil and is located at 32°47'6N 71°46'49E and has an altitude of 448 m (1473 ft). Thamewali a most erstwhile and an oldest heritage town, is the union council in Mianwali city, in Pakistan. History of the village goes a long way back to the resides of the caravans of great Muslim worrier Salahuudin Ayubi in his war times.

Nammal Lake

Nammal Lake, is situated in Nammal Valley, Mianwali District, Pakistan. It is located 32 km away from the city on Mianwali Rawalpindi Road. Nammal Lake is not a natural lake. It was shaped as a lake by the British in 1913, before constructing Nammal Dam. When the British announced Mianwali would be a district in 1904. To fulfill water requirements of the city and surroundings, they planned to use water of Nammal Lake. The Mountain range in this area was naturally favourable to make Nammal Lake.
