Lyari

Lyari is one of the neighbourhoods of Lyari Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. There are several ethnic groups in Lyari including Muhajirs, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, Memons, Punjabies Ismailis, etc. Over 99% of the population is Muslim. The population of Lyari Town is estimated to be nearly one million. Lyari serves as the base of the Peoples' Aman Committee.

Lakki hills

The Lakki hills, or Laki hills is a range in the Sindh, in Pakistan, to the south of the Manchar Lake. The range is about 50 miles long, connected with the Kirthar Mountains and running east towards Sehwan where they terminate on the west bank of the Indus. The highest hills are between 1,500 ft and 2,000 ft. The hills are of recent volcanic origin as shown by frequent hot springs and sulphuric exhalations.
