Barkan Industrial Park
The Barkan Industrial Park is located about 25 kilometres east of Tel Aviv on the Israeli-occupied West Bank whose offices are located at the northern entrance. The industrial park is located adjacent to the Israeli settlement/village Barkan and near the settlement and city of Ariel. Founded in 1982, the industrial park currently includes about 120 businesses and factories manufacturing plastics, metal-work, food, textile, and more.

The Salfit Governorate is one of 16 Governorates of the Palestinian National Authority. It is located in the northwestern West Bank, bordered by the governorates of Ramallah and al-Bireh to the south, Nablus to the east and Qalqilya in the north as well as, Israel to the west. Etz Efraim is a mixed (religious and nonreligious) urban Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located between Ariel and Rosh HaAyin, it falls under the jurisdiction of Shomron Regional Council.
