Juan Augusto Saldívar

Julián Augusto Saldívar (also known as Posta Leiva) is a city located along the 23rd to 28th kilometer of Ruta 1 in the Central department of Paraguay. The city is well known for its exports of tangerines, lettuce and other agricultural products. The city has grown considerably in the past 15 years. From a population of about 2,013 in 1992, it has more than doubled in population to around 5,383 in 2007, according to a recent census.

Battle of Paraguarí

The battle of Paraguarí took place on January 19, 1811, in Paraguarí, between the patriot army led by Manuel Belgrano and the Royalist army located in Paraguay. The battle would end with a Paraguayan victory; but it boosted confidence in the local population to declare themselves independent from both Buenos Aires patriots and royalists months later.

Luque

Luque is a city in Central Department, Paraguay, part of the Gran Asunción metropolitan area. Both 1635 and 1750 have been recorded as dates of its founding. It was temporarily the capital of Paraguay in 1868 during the Paraguayan War before relocation to San Estanislao. Estadio Feliciano Cáceres

The Estadio Feliciano Cáceres, is a football stadium in the city of Luque, Paraguay. It is the home venue of Club Sportivo Luqueño and is named after former club president Feliciano Cáceres. The old stadium was torn down and this stadium was built for use in the Copa América 1999. The stadium hosted games played by Uruguay, Colombia, Argentina and Ecuador.
