Trujillo Cathedral

Trujillo Cathedral (constructed 1647-1666) is the cathedral of Trujillo, Peru. Note that in some older sources "Ciudad Trujillo's cathedral" refers to Catedral de Santa María la Menor, Santo Domingo, since the capital of the Dominican Republic was called "Ciudad Trujillo" from 1930 to 1961, after the dictator Rafael Trujillo, who renamed the capital after himself.

Freedom Monument (Trujillo)

The Freedom Monument, located in the center of the Plaza de Armas of Trujillo (Peru) and work of sculptor Edmund Möeller, consists of three sections: the first is on a circular platform with pedestals, resting on a granite base, supporting the sculptures represent the art, science, trade and health. The second consists of three statues robust. A statue of a man who snorts, it is bent, symbolizing oppression or slavery. A second statue's arms back, symbolizing the struggle for freedom.

Estadio Mansiche

Mansiche Stadium (Estadio Mansiche) is a multi-purpose stadium in Trujillo, Peru. It is used by many football clubs in Trujillo such as Primera División club Universidad César Vallejo and Carlos A. Mannucci. The stadium holds 24,000 people. Mansiche Stadium was inaugurated on 12 October 1946, with a game between Club Social Deportivo Trujillo and Sport Tigre de Trujillo. In 1984, the northern stand was built to meet the requirements needed to be used in the Copa Libertadores.

Huaca de la Luna

Huaca de la Luna is a large adobe brick structure built mainly by the Moche people of northern Peru. Along with the Huaca del Sol, the Huaca de la Luna is part of Huacas de Moche, which is the remains of an ancient Moche capital city called Cerro Blanco.

Huaca del Sol

The Huaca del Sol is an adobe brick temple built by the Moche civilization on the coast of what is now Peru. The temple is one of several ruins found near the peak of Cerro Blanco, in the coastal desert near Trujillo, Peru. The other major ruin at the site is the nearby Huaca de la Luna, a better-preserved but smaller temple. By 450 CE, eight different stages of construction had been completed on the Huaca del Sol.
