Monsefú

Monsefú is a town in Northern Peru, capital of the Monsefú district in the Chiclayo in the region Lambayeque. It is renowned for its food and handicrafts, which are on display at the annual FEXTICUM festival, named in 1973 by Professor Limberg Chero Ballena and held in July during Fiestas Patrias. Monsefú is also the home of the cumbia groups Grupo 5 and Hermanos Yaipen. Monsefú was elevated to the category of "city" on October 26, 1888.

Estadio Elías Aguirre

Estadio Elías Aguirre is a multi-purpose stadium administrated by the governmental Instituto Peruano del Deporte in Chiclayo, Peru. It was built in 1970 named after the 19th century Peruvian sailor Elías Aguirre Romero. Its current spectator capacity is 25,000 after the renovations performed for the 2004 Copa América, and had artificial turf installed for the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship. The most recognized club to play at this stadium is Juan Aurich.

As of 2011, Chiclayo is the fourth most populous city in Peru with a population of 629,990 comprising 6 contiguous urban districts: Chiclayo, José Leonardo Ortiz, La Victoria, Pomalca, Reque and Pimentel; It is also the principal city of the fourth most populous metropolitan area of Peru.
