La Luz Labas is the best! 2500 lang aircon room good for 6! Libre pa kitchen and Cabana use. Certainly beats that overhyped, overpriced La Luz.

1994 Mindoro earthquake

The 1994 Mindoro earthquake occurred on November 15, 1994 at 03:15 local time near Mindoro, the Philippines. It had a magnitude of Mw 7.1, or Ms 7.1. 78 people were reported dead. 7566 houses were damaged. The earthquake generated a tsunami and landslides on the Verde Island. The epicenter of this earthquake was located in the Verde Island Passage, a strait separating Luzon and Mindoro. The focal mechanism showed a dominantly right lateral strike-slip faulting.
