The Bataan Export Processing Zone Authority is a government agency of the Republic of the Philippines in charge with the management of Bataan Export Processing Zone, an economic zone located in Mariveles, Bataan. The agency was created by Republic Act No. 5490, a legislative enactment for the purpose of creating the special economic zone.

Bataan Export Processing Zone

The Bataan Export Processing Zone, commonly known as BEPZ, is a special economic zone in Mariveles, Bataan, Philippines. It is the first "free trade zone" in the Philippines established through the enactment of Republic Act No. 5490 by Congress of the Philippines. The economic zone is managed by Bataan Export Processing Zone Authority created under the law that established the zone. BEPZ is located in a cove at the southern tip of the Bataan Peninsula.

Bataan Airfield

La Monja Island

La Monja Island (also Lamonja Island or Monja Island; Spanish for "the nun") is a small, uninhabited island near the entrance to Manila Bay in the Philippines. It is located several kilometers southeast of Mariveles, Bataan, and has remained untouched compared to other nearby islands, which have been used as military installations over the past four centuries.
