Interesting facts about this location

Yeto Island

Pedro Brancia Yeto (March 3, 1917 - March 1, 2004) was a lieutenant assigned to the U.S. Signal Corps during World War II. He had set up a wireless radio relay station on this island which lies 10°24’44.75"N 122°33’57.14”E between Guimaras Island and Guiwanon Island on the Province of Panay in the Republic of the Philippines. The natives called it "isla ni Yeto" referring to the place being used by the soldiers fighting against the Japanese invaders at that time and under the command of Lt. P.

Panaad Stadium

The Panaad Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located inside the Panaad Park and Sports Complex in Bacolod, Philippines. Owned by the Negros Occidental provincial government, it is used for football matches, and is the adopted home of the Philippines national football team.

Western Visayas

Western Visayas, one of the regions of the Philippines, is designated as Region VI. It consists of six provinces; Aklan, Antique, Negros Occidental, Capiz, Guimaras and Iloilo and 16 cities making it the region with the highest number of cities. Iloilo City is the regional center. Western Visayas is composed of six provinces and the highly urbanized cities of Bacolod and Iloilo.
